Delegate-Centric Approach

  • Session Formats: Eight session types, including Hot Line Sessions, Plenaries, Battle of Experts, Keynotes, Fireside Chats, National Society Sessions, Free Paper Sessions, and Innovation Hubs, maximize engagement and inclusivity.
  • Real-Time Participation: Delegates shape the final “Declaration of Tomorrow” through live voting and digital platforms, ensuring the programme reflects the consensus and priorities of the global ENT community.
  • Structural Equity: Open-access content, gender parity, LMIC representation, and hybrid sessions with real-time translation are prioritized.
  • Sustainability: The event is paperless, partners with sustainability-focused providers, and integrates sustainability as a core theme.

Global Opportunities: 52 International Fellowships

To promote global collaboration and knowledge exchange, IFOS 2030 offers 52 international fellowships through the ENTUK Foundation in the four years leading up to the congress:

  • 13 Fellowships Annually: Each year, 13 fellowships are awarded, each aligned with one of the IFOS 2030 themes.
  • Observerships in NHS Hospitals: Fellows undertake a two-week observership in a UK NHS hospital, with travel and accommodation provided.
  • Learning Experience: Fellows gain first-hand experience within the world’s largest publicly funded health system, learning alongside renowned ENT consultants.
  • Professional Networks: The programme encourages building lasting professional relationships and bringing new skills and insights back to home institutions.
  • Global Reach: The fellowships are open to international applicants, supporting the development of ENT expertise worldwide and reinforcing the congress’s commitment to equity and legacy.
